Hello Danish at BogForum 2025 – Lots of inspiration

As usual, the book festival BogForum 2025 was a great opportunity to be updated and to discover all the new books and learning materials. Looking forward to explore them further with my Hello Danish students.

Enjoyed the stimulating conversations and interaction at the Den Danske Sprogkreds’ and The Danish Authors’ Society’s stands. Lise Bostrup’s and my presentations on ‘Idiomatic expressions’ at Den Danske Sprogkreds’ stand were very popular with lots of interest from newcomers learning Danish who found it amusing that when ‘you go bananas’ in English ‘you go cucumber’ in Danish!

Thank you and Goodbye to the Irish Ambassador

Thank you to the Irish Embassy for the invitation to the Farewell Reception in honour of Ambassador McCullough.

It was a fantastic chance to say goodbye and wish you all the best in your next country – which is lucky to get you!

Hello Danish at Lærfest 2024 – March the 13th to14th

The 13-14th March, Hello Danish will be represented at the learning festival Lærfest 2024 in the Bella Center Copenhagen at the Den Danske Sprogkreds stand no. 219!

Come and have a chat and learn more about the Danish language as well as materials for learning Danish. I will be happy to answer any question you might have.
